If you enjoy browser games, there’s a good chance you already know the excellent Fallen London developed by Failbetter Games. Even though the game was already playable in some form on iOS devices, the team has finally confirmed that an iOS version of the game sporting some extra, and rather welcome, features will be released later this year in all regions.
Fallen London is set in a unique Victorian version of London, with players having the ability to create a story by using over 10 million words. All the possible stories are all nicely written and incredibly varied, making the world of Fallen London feel incredibly coherent and alive.
The iOS version of the browser game will come with some extra features that will vastly improve the experience, such as music composed by the same composer who created the music for Sunless Sea, another game from the same team, and more. Also, the iOS version of Fallen London will allow players to sync the app with the browser, allowing players to continue playing from where they left off in the browser version. Those who don’t want to be online at all times to play a game will also be happy to know that Fallen London will support offline play.
Fallen London will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date on the App Store. We will keep you updated on the matter as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
