The new trailer, which can be found at the end of this post, shows how the game will be a rather fast auto runner game where players will take control of Sonic or one of his friends, jump on platforms, avoid dangers, fight bad guy such as the evil Eggman, collect plenty of items and more.

The new trailer also seems to confirm that the game will feature several playable characters. Only Sonic, Tails and Knuckles have been confirmed so far but the trailer also shows Amy, Shadow, Rogue and a few other characters.

Sonic Runners has been originally revealed last month. The game is actually the first mobile title based on the franchise to get developed by Sonic Team. It was also confirmed that the game will be released as a free to play title with microtransactions.
