The iOS port of the game is probably the best way to enjoy the open world game developed by Rockstar thanks to a slew of improvements that manage to enhance the experience without ruining what made the game so good to begin with.

Despite having been available for around 6 years, some gamers may have never had the chance to play it before. For this reason, we will be helping all newbies with a few basic tips.

  • Restoring Health

Unlike other GTA games, the only way to restore health in San Andreas is by eating at restaurants. Considering how many of them are found in Los Santos and surrounding areas, you will hot have a problem in getting restored. Getting arrested will also heal you but it’s not a recommended method as most of the times you will end up losing money.

  • Changing Your Appearance

For the first time ever in the series, you are able to alter the appearance of your main character by buying many different clothes, hairstyle and more. We’re not talking about cosmetic changes only, as any change in appearance has a gameplay function. Changing your clothes or hairstyle while wanted will remove wanted status. Getting fat or going to the gym to get all muscled up will change your physical abilities in a few ways.

  • Weapon Skills

As soon as you begin the game, you’ll notice that CJ has a quite average ability in handling all types of weapons. By improving your skills with a weapon type you’ll be way more accurate when shooting. If you want to become a force to be reckoned with in Los Santos, it’s better to stick to a single weapon type in the beginning and only switch when facing non dangerous situations.

  • Earning Money

Aside from completing Story Missions, there are a few side missions you can take on to enjoy some extra money. Ambulance and Taxi side missions will allow you to earn a bit of extra money while enjoying yourself, especially the Ambulance ones. The only thing you have to do to start them is stealing one of the vehicles. Killing people will also make you earn some small amounts of money from time to time, but it’s not a convenient way.
