As the game was never announced for an iOS release, this is a rather welcome surprise.

Transistor on iOS isn’t a mere port of the PC and console version of the game, as it features a reworked interface for touch devices. The game also includes the regular controls so you will be able to use your controllers with the game without any problem.

Transistor is the perfect evolution of the gameplay formula the team introduced in another successful role playing game, Bastion. Transistor takes everything to the next step, from the interesting storytelling to the battle system, which manages to combine action and strategy in a really nice way.

Transistor is now available for purchase on the App Store for only $9.99. The game is an excellent role playing game so make sure to give it a look if you are looking for a game of the genre to play on the go.
