Thankfully work on the game is now over and the team confirmed that Brothers in Arms 3 is going to be released sometime next month on the App Store.

There was a good reason for the game’s disappearance, though. Sometime during development, Gameloft changed the Brothers in Arms 3 gameplay experience considerably, turning it from an on-rails shooter game into a third person cover based one, with players now being able to move around the battlefield and get behind cover automatically. Thanks to this change, Gameloft wanted to make Brothers in Arms 3 a deeper experience, where players’ decisions actually matter.

Brothers in Arms 3 is also going to be more varied that othen similar games as the game is going to feature some sniping and stealh missions as well as some light role playing game elements.

Brothers in Arms 3 will be released next month on the App Store. A precise release date has yet to be confirmed but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as more comes in on it.
