The new entry of the popular series is called Skylanders Superchargers and it will come with a few new features not found in previous entries of the series. The biggest new addition to the formula are vehicles, which players will be able to use in the game to fight enemies, travel around the environments and more.

Land gameplay will also be included in Skylanders Superchargers, with players having the ability to control the already released Skylanders as well as some brand new ones coming with powerful new special abilities called Superchargers. The Superchargers Skylanders also have one preferred vehicle which allows players to use a super powered vehicle by pairing them in the game. All Skylanders will be able to use vehicles so it’s not really required to purchase the new Superchargers figurines.

Skylanders Superchargers will be released on the App Store for iPad on September 20th. The game will be the full Skylanders Superchargers experience, meaning that the iPad game will play just like the console release.
