Before the update, the three games were pretty much unplayable on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as a weird bug forced the games to run in a small window in a corner of the screen. Thankfully the bug has been fixed and the three games can be enjoyed on the more recent versions of the iPhone.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is probably the best of the three games. The game has received a new update sometime after release which improved on pretty much everything as well as adding the ability to use Tails and Knuckles right from the start and a brand new zone called Hidden Palace, which wasn’t playable in the original SEGA Genesis release of the game.

Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic CD are now available for purchase on the App Store. The three games are now fully compatible with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus so you can now enjoy them to the fullest even if you just have the latest iPhone devices.
