1. Try to have left over moves!

Most of the time the bonus points you get from having left over moves will put you over the requirement for getting three stars. This is easy to pull off on objective levels where you need to collect the fruits, as they usually only require a couple of moves. Just be efficient with your block placements to maximize your moves!

2. Pop multiple lines!

If you manage to pop more than one line at a time, one of the blocks will be left behind as a sweeper bomb block. It’ll automatically go off potentially netting you multiple line clears. Try to always aim for multiple lines instead of one!

3. Study the position of your objectives!

If you’re on a level where you need to collect the fruit, be sure to take a look at the board before you start putting any pieces down. Are there any fruit in the same row or column? Is the board wider than it is tall? Taking into account these two features will help you reduce the amount of moves you use to finish your objective.

4. Watch for solid blocks!

In certain levels, there will be solid blocks that you cannot remove placed in the board. Normally they’re what surround the board but sometimes they’ll be put on the board. The nifty thing about this is that these blocks count as an “end,” meaning that you can create lines within these blocks. For example, if you had:

[] – – – – – [] – – – – – []

Where the [] brackets are the walls/borders and the – are empty spaces, creating a line in between the middle [] is possible.

5. Utilize the sweeper bombs!

On most score objective levels, there will be sweeper bombs pre-placed on the board for you to take advantage of. With a few smart block placements, you can use these bombs to set off multiple line clears, netting you a ton of points. Try to build around them to set up big chains.
