Shin Megami Tensei V launched with a couple of DLC packs that introduce some welcome new features to the game as well as a sidequest that all fans of the series should complete, as it features the powerful Fiends that made their debut in the now classic Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne. Upon defeat, it will also be possible to get them in your party via Special Fusion.
Here’s how to fuse Red Rider and the skills it learns.
How to Fuse Red Rider in Shin Megami Tensei V
Like for most Special Fusions included in the game, you will first have to defeat Red Rider before you can fuse him in the World of Shadows. You can find the Fiend in Iwamotocho, in the Chiyoda ward, and you will only stand a chance against him if your Nahobino and the demons that accompany him are at around level 50.
After you have taken down Red Rider, you can get him into your party by fusing White Rider, Macabre and Valkyrie.
Red Rider Resistances and Skills
Red Rider is a very good demon to use in the mid and even late portions of the game, as it can resist, repel and drain multiple elements. Red Rider repels Electric attacks, drains Force attacks and resists Light and Dark attack. The demon’s only weakness is to Ice attacks.
Red Rider is also quite good at using a variety of skills, with his Skill Proficiency making him a very versatile demon. Red Rider comes with a +6 proficiency in Physical, +4 in Electric, +4 in Force and +2 in Support. His -5 in Ice makes him quite bad at using Bufu skills and the like.
