Gligar, the Bat Pokemon introduced in Generation Two with quite the unique Ground/Flying typing, was an immediate fan favorite when it was released. Until Generation Four, Gligar was a one-stage Pokemon.
Then, it received its fantastic evolution named Gliscor, a stronger and faster evolution with a great ability in Poison Heal. If you want to know how to evolve Gligar in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to get a Gliscor for yourself, then you’re in luck. Just read on below to find out!
How to Evolve Gligar into Gliscor in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Well, this may definitely come as disappointing news to players, specifically ones that are playing Pokemon Shining Pearl: Gligar can only be found and caught in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, as Gligar is a Pokemon Brilliant Diamond exclusive Pokemon.
So, if you are looking for a Gliscor while playing Pokemon Shining Pearl, your best bet would be to trade a Gligar into your game and follow the method below to evolve it, or better yet, just trade in a Gliscor itself!
For the ones playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, you need to first make sure you have completed the main story and beaten the Elite Four and Champion. Once you have done that, you need to catch a Gligar, which can be found in the Grand Underground.
To evolve your Gligar, you need to raise it by 1 level at night while it holds the Razor Fang item. The reason we said that you need to have beaten the main story before setting out to evolve Gligar is because the Razor Fang item is only available in the post-game.
You can find the Razor Fang on the ground laying right outside the Battle Park, in the southwest corner of the outside area leading into the Battle Tower. The other method to obtain the Razor Fang is by exchanging five Battle Points for one at the Battle Tower.
