How to Install Mods to The Sims Mobile

For all the major The Sims games, mods were usually acquired by going on the internet and looking for them through mod websites, like Mod The Sims and Nexus Mods. These websites have ever-growing collections of mods for all main games, including The Sims 4, the latest release.

Mods are special files that you have to either manually place in your game’s installation folder or use a mod manager. Because of this, mods are usually difficult, if not outright impossible, to implement on any device other than PCs.

Unfortunately, this rings true for The Sims Mobile, as there is no modding scene for the game due to its mobile nature. Modding mobile games usually requires a lot of extra steps, and a lot of the random “mods” you can find for them online are usually closer to hacks.

If you’d like to see an official modding scene for the game, it would require Electronic Arts to implement some kind of modding framework that can easily let players add their own creations. Such a thing doesn’t exist at the moment, so if you’re passionate about this, we recommend heading on over to the official The Sims Mobile website and posting on the forums about it.
