Minecraft Bedrock Edition offers cross-play features that enable players to explore an infinite world full of dangers and opportunities that come in different forms with their friends, irrespective of the platform. 

And because of this, many in the Minecraft community wonder if Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Java Edition players play together.

Can Minecraft Java and Bedrock Players Play Together?

The short and simple answer is No, Minecraft Java Edition players cannot play together with Minecraft Bedrock Edition players. 

The Bedrock Edition is the version of Minecraft that supports cross-play functionality. Minecraft Bedrock Edition allows players to play together irrespective of the platform. 

Whether you are on a console, mobile platform, or PC, you can invite your friends to explore the never-ending world of Minecraft together.

The Bedrock Edition was created to bring the latest functionalities to Minecraft as the old Java Edition was not technically capable of doing so.
