Croagunk is a dual-type Poison/Fighting Pokemon that evolves into the menacing Toxicroak. It possesses a fatal 4x weakness to Psychic hits, but also carries a threatening offensive typing that hits Grass, Fairy, Normal, Ice, Steel, Rock, and Dark types for super-effective. Who would’ve thought a frog could be this scary.

How to Get Croagunk in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Croagunk was quite the rare Pokemon to capture in the original Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games, as it was only available in one location, with a low spawn rate. Thankfully, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have made it easier to capture the little bugger.
The first place you can find Croagunk is in the Great Marsh, which is located in Pastoria City. After searching in the tall grass for a couple of minutes, you are bound to come across a Croagunk that you can catch and add to your party.
The other location where you can find Croagunk is in the Grand Underground. You can visit any of these four Hideaways for a chance to encounter Croagunk: Swampy Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Riverbank Cave, and Bogsunk Cavern. Keep exiting and reentering the Hideaways until you see a Croagunk spawned within.
