Dragon Quest VIII is soon going to be released again on Nintendo 3DS in Japan but Western fans of the series have had the chance to play the game in a somewhat new form a while back thanks to the iOS port. Despite the obvious differences with the PlayStation 2 release, Dragon Quest VIII on iOS is a really good port.
If you have yet to play this game or want to play it again on the go, you may want to take advantage of a new deal that’s available right now on the App Store. For the next few days, Dragon Quest VIII will be available for purchase for the reduced price of $12.99
Dragon Quest VIII is the first Dragon Quest iOS port to get released in the West. Despite the obvious differences with the original PlayStation 2 release, Dragon Quest VIII iOS holds up incredibly well, offering the full gameplay experience of the game developed by Level-5.
The latest entry of the series to get released on the App Store in the West is Dragon Quest VI, the third entry of the series originally released on Nintendo SNES years ago. Outside from the more recent entries, the only Dragon Quest game to still get released on iOS is Dragon Quest VII.
Dragon Quest VIII is now available for a reduced price on the App Store. This deal won’t be available for long so make sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible.
