Here come the wild Cherrim…or do they?

Where to Find Cherrim in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Cherrim is a Pokémon that was introduced in the original Generation 4’s Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Cherrim is a grass-type Pokémon that originates in the game’s Sinnoh region, which is the setting for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and also their subsequent “faithful remakes” of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

How to get Cherrim in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Cherrim can only be obtained by evolving Cherubi. Cherubi is a fairly uncommon Pokémon that can be found in two ways:

  1. The Grand Underground
  2. Honey Tree encounters

The Grand Underground

In the Grand Underground, Cherubi can be encountered in the Grassland Cave in the main area of the Grand Underground (which can be accessed via digging at Eterna City) as well as the Sunlit Cavern in the bottom-left area of the Grand Underground (which can be accessed via digging at Twinleaf Town, Canalave City or Ramanas Park). Both of these places can be easily accessed by using the Explorer Kit provided at Eterna City.

Honey Tree encounters

The other method of obtaining Cherubi would be by slathering Honey on Honey Trees. The chances of encountering a Cherubi this way are fairly lower than the Grand Underground method, but it provides an alternate possibility for trainers looking for a challenge!

How to evolve Cherrim in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Once you have obtained a Cherubi using the methods detailed above, the hardest part is behind you. The only thing left to do here is to train your Cherubi to level 25 and it will evolve into Cherrim!
