Star Girl Gets Paris Hilton Collection in Latest Update

Downloaded more than 65 million times since its launch, Star Girl is one of Animoca’s best games and still a fan favorite, so the developers decided to bring a treat for all the Star Girls in the game: they have recently released a Paris Hilton branded update to the game, consisting of a bunch of new clothing items and accessories, a Paris Hilton fashion competition where players decide the winner and much more.

It’s for the first time that Star Girl gets a celebrity-branded update, and also Animoca’s first time of trying this out. While Paris Hilton is not the name on everyone’s lips at the moment, she might still have an impact make many of the players happy with her virtual appearance and all the branded items, locations and events.

Here is the complete list of new goodies brought to the game by the Paris Hilton Collection:

• Paris Hilton Collection Vol. 1, consisting of five dresses, a pair of sunglasses, and a fishnet stockings and heels combo. The items are inspired by fashion choices of Ms Hilton, and are available for a total price of US$ 4.99
• Paris Hilton Style, a recurring fashion competition with voting by players
• a virtual version of Ms Hilton’s Paris Beach Club, which opened in 2014 in Paranaque City, the Philippines. The virtual club will be the setting for fashion contests
• the new “Star Dazzle” virtual store, which offers the Paris Hilton virtual items
• over 150 new, summer-themed items added to the regular in-game store
• a new yoga minigame
• a new Photo Frame where players can take pictures of their avatars with a variety of backdrops and share them on social media

So it’s a really massive update, in the end – with or without the Paris Hilton items. And since the developers are talking about a “Volume 1” it’s pretty clear to us that it’s not going to be the last we’re getting!
