In Minecraft, the Overworld has many exciting biomes inspired by real-world areas. Players will find vast lands covered with snow and ice in the cold biomes. In the recent Caves & Cliffs update, Mojang has introduced a new type of snow block called powdered snow.
Powdered snow is one of the most interesting blocks in Minecraft. Despite being a block, it can be picked in a bucket. Moreover, powdered snow is a trap block as it can kill players and mobs stuck inside.

Powdered snow naturally generates in the two newly added mountain biomes – groves and snowy slopes. After finding this block, pick it using an empty bucket. Powdered snow has almost the same textures as regular snow blocks. Since snow and powdered snow generate in these two biomes, finding the latter can become daunting.
Like any other resource, powdered snow can also be farmed automatically. During snowfall, players can use cauldrons to collect snow particles. Once the cauldron is filled, Minecraft players can use a bucket to pick up snow.
Players can build an automatic powdered snow farm in snowy areas. Players can watch the video tutorial to learn how to create a powdered snow farm. An easier way to farm powdered snow is by tons of cauldrons in an open area.
