Skeletons are aggressive mobs in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition that wield bows. They’ll fire at you from afar, but you can get helpful Bones and Arrows if you manage to defeat them. Today, we’ll show you how to make a Skeleton farm in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition!
How to Make a Skeleton Farm
This time, we’ll be using a farm design by a YouTuber named ZipByte. Their design is a simple conveyor belt system that pushes Skeletons into a kill chamber using water, where Hoppers and Chests are set up to collect the drops. Please note that this design offers no experience points! You can see the whole thing in action right here.

First off, you have to find a Skeleton Spawner in your world before you can make an automated farm. Skeleton Spawners can be found in Dungeons, which are randomly spawned in caves. You’ll know if you’re near one if you see Mossy Cobblestone, so keep an eye out for that.
Each Dungeon will have at least one perfectly square room that has a Mob Spawner inside. Mob Spawners are exactly what they sound like—they spawn in lots of mobs, if the conditions are correct. You can tell what kind of Mob a Mob Spawner will spawn in by looking inside the Spawner. In this case, you’ll want one with a Skeleton inside.
Once you find a Skeleton Spawner, it’s simply a matter of digging out the space around the Spawner to create the rest of the automatic farm. You can check out the video for detailed instructions. It should only take you a few minutes to create the farm, as it’s not too big. You’ll be earning lots of Bones in no time!
