Developer Game Freak has brought back the changing nature mechanic from Pokemon Sword and Shield. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, mints are used to change the nature of a Pokemon. All you need to do is use the item on a Pokemon as any other in-game item. Simply select it from your inventory, then press “Use.” Choose the Pokemon that you want to change the nature of from your party, and voila. However, you can only use the Mints on Pokemon in your party. Here’s what the different Mints do in the game.
- Adamant Mint – Attack grows more easily, but Special Attack grows more slowly.
- Bold Mint – Defense grows more easily, but Attack grows more slowly.
- Rash Mint – Special Attack grows more easily, but Special Defense grows more slowly.
The simplest and easiest way to get Mints in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is by visiting and meeting the NPC called Miller. He can be found in the plowed fields, located in the South-Western part of Jubilife Village. Perform the different side quests for Miller and upon finishing the “Help Wanted: Rock Smashing in the Fields” mission, you will unlock the ability to use said fields to grow your very own Mints.
