Shin Megami Tensei V is among the biggest entries in the series, featuring not only some massively-sized locations to explore but also a huge number of demons to recruit to your party.

While many common demons can be obtained by simply talking with them in battle, many of them can only join the Nahobino in his quest to reshape the world via Special Fusion.

The latter is the case with Michael, one of the game’s high-level demons. Here’s how to unlock him and all the skills he can learn.

How to Fuse Michael in Shin Megami Tensei V

Michael, like the other seraphim in the game, can only be fused after completing a specific sidequest. To have Michael join your party directly, and unlock his Special Fusion, you will have to complete The Seraph’s Return sidequest by defeating Belial.

Once this is done, you will be able to get Michael, in case you had a full party at the end of the quest, by fusing Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel.

Michael’s Resistances and Skills

Starting at Level 90, Michael is among the best demons in the game, and his resistances and skills fully reflect his status. The seraphim can null Fire, Ice, and Light but is weak to Force, so make sure to take this into account when bringing him out in battle.

As far as skill versatility goes, Michael doesn’t have much, as he comes only with a +2 in Physical, +5 in Fire and +4 in Almighty. His -4 in Force makes him bad at using Zan skills, so make sure he does not learn any to avoid wasting a valuable skill slot.

Below, you will find all the skills Michael learns.
