Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest instalment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.
The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh eventually. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles as was the staple of the series thus far.
With Alpha Pokémon being one of the major new additions to the series, one question that needed to be answered was whether Alpha Pokémon were restricted to the land and water-dwelling Pokémon only? What about flying Alpha Pokémon?
Flying Alpha Pokémon
Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduced Alpha Pokémon of all types, including land, water and air-based Pokémon!
As far as Flying-type Pokémon go, there are enough of them in the land of Hisui for the player to take their pick. Fan favorites like Staravia and Honchkrow make their return as Alpha Pokémon, as well as Pokémon like Gyarados, which most people tend to forget is also classified as a Flying Pokémon!
From what we know so far, there are a bunch of fixed spawn locations for Flying Alpha Pokémon and we will be listing all that we know!
Spawn Locations
These are all of the known Flying-type Alpha Pokémon spawn locations:
- Gyarados: Lake Verity

- Scyther: The Heartwood
- Honchkrow: Cloudpool Ridge
