How to Fix Outdated Client Error for Minecraft Bedrock

What are the New Experimental Features with Frogs in Minecraft Bedrock 1.18.1

Everyone’s favorite Mojang Studios, as always, does not stand still and continues to delight its players not only by improving old mechanics and bug fixes in the game but also by adding constantly something new. And today we will talk about one of the newest and most interesting innovations of The Wild Update at the beginning of 2022, namely the introduction of Frogs into the game.

New Experimental Features with Frogs

To begin with, we would like to clarify that every player playing Minecraft Bedrock can now test the innovations. To do this, you just need to create a New World in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.18.10.24, after which you can check all the innovations for yourself.

Speaking of frogs, we would like to note that they come in several types and stages of development. And to begin with, we would like to talk about the stages of development and the process of reproduction of these nice little mobs:

To begin with, they can be artificially propagated with algae, but for now, it’s just placeholder food.

  • After breeding, frogs lay eggs from which tadpoles eventually emerge.
  • Tadpoles can swim in the water and can be caught in a bucket of water, but when they land on land they start jumping and eventually die.
  • After a certain period of time, tadpoles turn into full-fledged toads, the appearance of which depends on which biome it was born in.

By themselves, frogs will spawn in swamp biomes and, just like tadpoles, have their characteristics:

  • Frogs can jump, croak, swim, and move on land without any problems.
  • Also, frogs can sometimes eat small slimes, after which a slime ball falls out.

Also with the addition of frogs to the game, 3 new blocks were added that have their properties:

These blocks are called Froglight (Pearlescent, Verdant, and Ocher), and all of these blocks emit light.

These blocks can be obtained by luring a frog to a small magma cube. And after the frog eats it, a block of frog light will fall out of it. Depending on the type of frog, different Froglight blocks may drop out.

In the end, we would like to add that this innovation looks quite interesting, and knowing Mojang Studios, we think in the near future we can expect a much greater variety of interactions with these cute creatures.
