Crunchyroll is Now Available on Nintendo Switch

The American distributor, publisher, production, and licensing company focused on streaming anime, manga, and dorama, Crunchyroll, is now officially available on the Nintendo Switch platform. This transition brings some of the fans-favorites media to the handheld platform.

Starting today, you can download the Crunchyroll application on your Nintendo Switch and use it to stream hundreds of your favorite anime on the handheld console. Alternatively, you can dock the Switch to stream the anime shows on TV. 

With this, Nintendo users—mainly comprised of people who love JRPGs and anime games—can enjoy anime, manga, and dorama on the go. 

Currently, there are two types of premium subscriptions, namely the Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan, that players can opt for to watch their favorite shows offline. 

How to Download Crunchyroll on Nintendo Switch 

To download Crunchyroll on Nintendo Switch, visit the Nintendo eShop and click on the “Free Download” button to begin the downloading process. 

Once the download is complete, you can start watching the different forms of media available in the Crunchyroll app. To make the experience ads-free and more immersive, you can go for the aforementioned premium subscriptions.
