Hitman: Sniper is a 2015 mobile shooting gallery video game in the Hitman series by Square Enix Montreal. As the series’ mainstay protagonist Agent 47, the player looks through a first-person sniper scope vision on their touchscreen device to assassinate several powerful figures who have assembled at a lakeside compound without alerting their associates.
As it is with every game in the Hitman series, the appeal of the games has always been the various creative ways by which Agent 47 disposes of his enemies. From causing accidents to being personally involved in the assassination, 47 has never failed to deliver a quick end to his targets and immense satisfaction to the players.
Gameplay
Gameplay in Sniper is split up into two sections for the two different mission packs; Montenegro, which is the main set of the game, containing all the targets, missions, rifles and upgrades, and Death Valley, which is an unlockable, expanded three-stage mission set in which you must protect an anonymous figure named Ben from hordes of infinite zombies.
Just like its predecessors, Hitman Sniper brings out a variety of ways to kill targets. Today we will be discussing how to use the fan to make sure the target’s body is never found and disposed of for the rest of the level.
Fan Body Disposal
Since this is a Sniper Assassin type game, 47 relies entirely on his Sniper Rifle to get the job done. Apart from just straight-up shooting his targets, the sniper has a lot more utility to it.
On some levels, there are giant exhaust fans, in front of which targets will occasionally pass by. These are perfect for body disposal since nobody will be able to find the body once the player is done. To achieve this, fire a stray bullet somewhere near the fan, that will prompt a guard to come over and check. When they start checking, shoot the guard and then immediately shoot the control panel on the fan. This will result in the fan blowing the body off the roof, keeping it out of sight for the rest of the level so players can carry on without fear of being caught.
There are other creative ways in this game to kill targets as well, for which we will be adding more guides soon! Stay tuned.
