And so, here are our picks for the top 5 Five Nights at Freddy’s Scariest Characters Ever!

Top Five Scariest Five Nights at Freddy’s Animatronics

5. Bellora

She may be dressed up like a ballerina, but she certainly doesn’t have the same grace (don’t say this to her face though, unless you’re a daredevil). Ballora, surprisingly is the one animatronic that looks very similar to humans, which makes her all the more unsettling. Watch out for the times when she splits her face apart; they’re, well, terrifying.

4. Nightmare Mangle

You thought the ordinary Mangle was scary? How about one with additional heads, arms, and legs? With an inhumane metal body and far too many jagged teeth, this animatronic is sure to pop up in your nightmares once in a while.

3. Circus Baby

What’s with the animatronics in this game and their tendencies to split open their face to reveal their horrifying insides? Circus Baby is not exempt from that group, showing off a feminine clown appearance that is nothing less than downright frightening. It’s a blessing that Baby doesn’t actually follow you in the game!

2. Springtrap

While Springtrap has a terrifying appearance like any other animatronic in the FNaF series, what’s truly nightmare-fueling about him is the fact that he’s possessed by the soul of William Afton, the child murderer who began the series of events that took place throughout the series.

1. Nightmare

As if the little kid protagonist didn’t go through enough throughout FNaF 4, he then has to endure a final showdown with this absolute monstrosity. Similar to Nightmare Fredbear, Nightmare is nearly pitch-black with glowing red eyes and dozens of spikes for teeth that stand out like sore thumbs. Sore, scary thumbs.

Big, angry, and out for blood, this final boss will make you afraid to walk downstairs to the kitchen alone at night, we guarantee you that much.
