Vampire Survivors is a roguelike game set in a retro gothic style. The task of the players is very simple—you need to walk around the endless map and survive waves of various enemies, increasing the level and finding new weapons. It can be difficult for a beginner to figure out which weapon is the best, so in this guide, we will cover the best builds.
How to Make the Best Build
The key to victory in Vampire Survivors is using evolved weapons and accessories that increase damage stats. By focusing on these two points, you can make a great build with almost any weapon.
- Let’s start with the King Bible. This is a great weapon that floats around you. At the first level, there is only one book and it periodically disappears to recharge. You will need a Spellbinder to turn the King Bible into the more powerful Unholy Vespers.
- Axe is a powerful weapon, but at the first level, it is difficult for it to hit enemies. With Candelabrador, you can get Death Spiral. This weapon will deal damage in all directions from the character.
- Magic Wand is the default ranged weapon. We recommend you find an Empty Tome to get the Holy Wand, which can be compared to a magical machine gun.
- Laurel will help you last longer during a busy period when you are surrounded by a crowd of strong mobs, but without attacking items, you still won’t survive.
- The Whip is a starting weapon, but no less powerful than the others. You need to find Hollow Heart as soon as possible to evolve Whip into Bloody Tear.
- Runetracer attacks a large number of enemies with different diamonds. It can also ricochet.

All of these weapons are not bad and, following the tips described above, you can easily hold out for many nights. We also recommend finding a Duplicator that will duplicate projectiles. Fortunately, this accessory fits all the builds described above.
