What Does the Mechanical Tub do in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Each Mechanical Item lets you access one of Rotom’s five different forms, with the Mechanical Tub letting you change your Rotom into Rotom-Wash, its Electric / Water type form.

Purchasing the Mechanical Tub will send it straight to your home. Interact with the Mechanical Tub found inside your house with Rotom as the selected Pokemon to change it into Rotom-Wash!
