As the name implies, Deoxys’ Defense Form is quite the sturdy beast. Clocking in at a whopping 330 defense, Deoxys’ Defense Form is hard to take down. Don’t even think about trying to attack with anything other than Bug, Dark, or Ghost moves, as you’ll be hard-pressed to make a dent in its HP.

With access to Psychic, Fighting, and Electric moves, Deoxys’ Defense Form also has decent type coverage, though not very expansive. Make sure you pick a Pokémon that isn’t vulnerable to any of those types, and you should have a greater chance of winning.
