As mentioned, the game has a lot of characters. Their design, characters, and script were entirely done by Yana Toboso, the author of the world-famous Black Butler. All events take place in a school of magic called Night Raven Academy. The structure of this academy resembles Hogwarts, and all students in it are divided into several Houses. However, these Houses are very different from the Hogwarts dorms. Because they do not refer to heroic personalities, but various villains. There are a total of seven Houses in Disney Twisted-Wonderland:

  • Octavinelle House – refers to the cartoon The Little Mermaid namely the villainess Ursula.
  • Savanaclaw House – based on Scar from The Lion King.
  • Heartslabyul House – refers to Alice in Wonderland, specifically to Queen of Hearts.
  • Diasomnia House – based on the maleficient villain that everyone knows from Sleeping Beauty.
  • Ignihyde House – refers to everyone’s favorite Hercules villain Hades.
  • Pomefiore House – based on the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
  • Scarabia at Home – refers to Jafar from Aladdin.
