Yungoos is a Normal-type Pokemon. Yungoos is one of the very first Pokemon added into Pokemon GO during the Season of Alola, in the Welcome to Alola event. While it is rare, you can find and catch shiny versions of this Pokemon as well—more easily now, in fact, since Yungoos has increased spawn rates.
Yungoos is weakest against Fighting-type Pokemon, but immune to Ghost-type Pokemon. Its most powerful move is Tackle and Hyper Fang, with a Max CP of 880. You can use these moves to deal 20% more damage, as it deals an attack bonus.
Yungoos, however, is only the first-stage of its evolutionary line, and can evolve into its second and final stage, Gumshoos. If you wanna know how to evolve Yungoos into Gumshoos in Pokemon Go, then this is just the guide for you.
How to Evolve Yungoos in Pokemon GO
Yungoos has a niche evolutionary requirement in Pokemon Go: Yungoos can only be evolved into Gumshoos during the day.
You’ll see Yungoos’ special evolutionary requirement if you tap on a Yungoos in your Pokemon collection. If you tap on a Yungoos in your collection during the day, you should be able to see a sun icon and checkmark to the right of Yungoos’ “Evolve” button. This means that you can evolve Yungoos into Gumshoos.
And of course, you will also need Candy, which is also indicated to the right of the sun icon. You will need exactly 50 Yungoos Candy, in addition to it being daytime, in order to evolve your Yungoos in Gumshoos.
