The new Mortal Kombat X character is Jason from Friday the 13th. The character comes with two different variations that can be obtained in different ways. Slasher Jason is only available through limited time special packs and is very powerful, with all his special attacks being unblockable. Unstoppable Jason can be unlocked in Challenge Mode and comes with X-Ray attacks that always cause Bleed status.

Another Mortal Kombat X update has been released two months ago on the App Store. The update introduced three new characters – Kold War Sonya, Ronin Kenshi and Gunslinger Error Black –  as well as a new single player bracket with seven new towers to fight through and a new fatality.

Mortal Kombat X is now available for free on the App Store. The new update introducing Jason to the game is also available for download right now in all regions.
