One of the burning hot questions in the Pokémon Go community is will Kecleon be available in Pokémon Go? This chameleon-like Pokémon has been forever elusive and trainers have been dying to see and add Kecleon to their collection. The reason why players can’t catch or get Kecleon is that it hasn’t been added to the game yet, making it the only unreleased Pokémon in the game. So, will Kecleon be available in Pokémon Go?

Will Kecleon Be Available in Pokémon Go
The arrival of Kecleon is so hyped because it is the only Pokémon that players need to earn the Hoen platinum medal. TechRadar’s Hamish Hector recently had the chance to sit down and chat with Michael Steranka’s (Pokémon Go’s Director of Global Product Marketing) where Steranka was asked about the whereabouts of Kecleon and its arrival. Referencing Kecleon’s ability in Pokémon Ruby and Saphire Steranka said, “Kecleon has unique properties in the main series games, abilities that no other Pokémon shares so we want to make sure we do right by its original design when incorporating it into augmented reality.”
This reply from Steranka confirms that Kecleon will be soon making its way to Pokémon Go in the near future. When asked further about Niantic’s plans about how Kecleon could be encountered in the game, Steranka answered, “Yeah, you probably won’t just encounter Kecleon in the wild, we want to make this encounter meaningful. I’m really looking forward to the day we’re able to release Kecleon.” This really is very positive news for players and confirms that the developers have plans of introducing Pokémon to the game.
While we still don’t have an exact release date yet, chances are that reptilian Pokémon might arrive sometime later this year.
