How to Get the Moonveil Katana in Elden Ring 

The Moonveil is a magic-based Katana in Elden Ring that scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Its special attack called Transient Moonlight consumes FP to deal magic slash damage. 

Overall, the Moonveil is a must-have Katana that you should be using, at least in PvP. Sometimes, you can take the fun of spamming Moonveil’s Special Art while invading other players. 

With that said, here is how you can get the Moonveil katana in Elden Ring. 

How to Get the Moonveil Katana Early

You can get the Moonveil Katana along with additional items by defeating the Magma Wyrm boss in the Gael Tunnel dungeon found in the Caelid region of the Lands Between. 

Gael Tunnel’s entrance is found Northeast of the Third Church of Marika. You can use the below map screenshot to get a better hold of the Gael Tunnel location. 

Once you reach there, make your way inside the cave till you reach the Site of Grace. From there, run straight and jump down the platform, then take left to reach the boss room. 

You can easily defeat the Magma Wyrm boss if you keep moving. The boss’s attacks have range, and it is hard to close in, but if you maintain your distance and plan attacks, you can easily win. 

We used an Astrologer, so the battle with the Magma Wyrm boss was relatively easy.
