Poison is one of the seven spells that initially existed in the Clash game franchise, the others being Earthquake, Lightning, Freeze, Rage, Clone, and Heal (which has been removed since).
Poison was initially based on the eponymous spell that was released in Clash of Clans, even sharing the same sound effects and sprites. In Clash Royale, unlike its CoC counterpart, Poison does affect buildings, possesses no damage-scaling effects, and does not affect the opposing troops’ attack speed.
Poison also works a little differently in Clash Royale than in Clash of Clans, in terms of the various cards that it can kill. If you want to find out what Poison can kill in Clash Royale, then this is the guide for you!
What Can Poison Kill in Clash Royale?
Poison possesses a certain niche in Clash Royale. Players would usually deem Poison as not too viable due to the fact that Fireball can, at first glance, do what Poison does, and much quicker than it as well. But that is not the case.
Poison can easily be switched for Fireball in a deck if it is preferred to cripple anything in a large radius. More importantly, Poison’s total damage is capable of fully killing a Musketeer, Wizard, or Electro Wizard, if placed in such a way that the troop is in its radius for its entire duration while it is walking; something that the Fireball simply cannot do.
