What Comes with the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass? – Answered

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass has released for the Nintendo Switch, which allows players to access the paid DLC that Nintendo has released for Mario Kart 8. This DLC will eventually add up to introducing 48 new tracks into the main game. This means by the end of the DLC being released, you will have 96 tracks to enjoy, 48 of them being new ones; literally double the fun!

Nintendo has made the decision to release these tracks in waves, 6 waves to be exact, with only the first of those waves being available to Deluxe Booster Course Pass owners at the time of writing this article.

Is that all of it, however? Does the new paid DLC only give us new tracks over the course of this entire year? Let’s find out.

What does the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass include?

So far, with the first of the six waves which are a part of the DLC being released, players have gotten 8 new tracks to try out and play in the Golden Dash Cup and Lucky Cat Cup. With every new wave being released comes the arrival of 8 new tracks with it, adding up to 48 new tracks by the end of the 6 waves.

Unfortunately, this is where the new content ends with this paid DLC. There is no news of new characters, new items, or vehicle parts. With the price of the DLC being $25, one might wonder whether it truly is worth it. We’d rather not be biased, and leave that decision up to you!
