Where is Blaidd in Elden Ring on Steam Deck

Blaidd is a half-wolf friendly NPC that you can encounter in Elden Ring. Like many of the NPCs you can find in the game, Blaidd has his own quest line that you must start by finding him first. Today, we’ll show you where to find Blaidd in Elden Ring.

Where is Blaidd in Elden Ring?

Blaidd resides in the Mistwood Ruins, which can be found on the eastern edge of Limgrave. Upon reaching Mistwood Ruins for the first time, you’ll hear a wolf howl echo throughout the area. You can spy Blaidd resting at the top of the tower in the middle of the ruins, but you’ve got to get his attention somehow.

Go back to the Church of Elleh, near where you started the game, and talk to Merchant Kalé. Inquire about the howling, and he’ll teach you the Finger Snap gesture. He’ll tell you to use it when you hear the howling, so do just that.

Head back to the Mistwood Ruins and go near the ruins, taking care not to wake the sleeping giant bear. Use the Finger Snap gesture, and Blaidd will jump down and greet you. He’ll tell you that he’s looking for a man named Darriwil, who can be fought at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, which can be found here.

Blaidd’s summon sign will show up near the Evergaol, so you can summon him for some additional help. Upon defeating Darriwil, talk to Blaidd twice to earn a Somber Smithing Stone [2] and learn of a distant blacksmith. If you’ve already defeated Darriwil, you can still talk to Blaidd here after you’ve spoken to him in Mistwood Ruins.

Once you make your way to Liurnia later in the game, you’ll meet another NPC named Ranni. You’ll be informed to meet Blaidd at Siofra River, which can be entered by going into the Siofra River Well, directly northeast of Mistwood Ruins. Speak to Blaidd there, and he’ll tell you to seek Preceptor Seluvis, who then tells you to talk to Sorceress Sellen.

Report back to Blaidd in the same spot, and he’ll tell you to meet him at Redmane Castle to fight together. Proceed through the main story of Redmane Castle, and you’ll find that Blaidd has stormed the castle. Once the festival starts proper, Blaidd can be summoned during Starscourge Radahn’s battle.

After the festival is completed, you can find Blaidd back at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. Talk to him for some additional info, and you can also speak to Iji. Upon defeating Starscourge Radahn, Iji will imprison Blaidd in the Evergaol. You now must complete Ranni’s quest line, causing Blaidd to lose his mind. He will be waiting near Ranni’s Rise, and he’ll attack you on sight. Defeat him to earn his sword and armor set.
