The Magma Blade, sadly, cannot be found through any shop or chest present in Elden Ring. It can only be obtained when it is dropped by an enemy called the Man-Serpent in Volcano Manor.
And since this is a random drop, players will need to farm the area until the item appears. This can take some time depending on your how much the RNG Gods decide to bless you, but it’s definitely worth the grind.
Where to Find the Magma Blade in Elden Ring
You can easily find two Magma Blade-wielding Man-Serpents when you spawn in Volcano Manor at the Temple of Eiglay. Take the elevator to your right and then head straight, following the balcony to the right once more.
Then, jump over the balcony to the right towards the magma slugs, and avoid them as you follow the path straight up. There will then be a drop-off at the end of that path, so continue to go down the drop, and then proceed straight.
Soon enough, you should reach a building that is directly in front of you. Make sure you avoid the Abductor outside the building and make your way inside through a window on the right side of the building.
When inside, make a right and head out of the door that takes you outside to encounter your first Man-Serpent. After defeating it, go up the staircase on the left and through the building once more. When you see a staircase going down, head straight and you will come across the second Man-Serpent.
Kill him as well, and then go left to find an elevator that takes you to the Site of Grace. Repeat this entire process over and over as you farm for the Magma Blade, which should eventually drop!
