How to Defeat Wild Edge Using an Invincible Candy

If the name didn’t give it away, you’ll be doing a lot of racing on Circuit Speedway. After the first racetrack, you’ll end up in a long room full of pits. In the middle of the room, you should see a blue switch on a platform that goes back and forth. Use the Bomb ability to hit it, or simply just fly over to it.

This will open a secret room to the left. Go inside, and you’ll see another switch that opens the gate on the left. The switch is timed, and the gate will close if you’re too slow, so you’ll have to roll a bomb down the ramp to get inside as soon as it opens. You’ll free a Waddle Dee for your troubles, but wait—there’s more! Behind the Waddle Dee cage is a yellow ladder, so climb it to reach a chest with an Invincible Candy inside!

Grab the Invincible Candy and Kirby will start to flash colors to let you know he’s temporarily invincible. Now that you have the candy, quickly head back to the long room and continue down the main path. You need to reach the Wild Edge before the Invincible Candy wears off, and once you do, just run into it twice to defeat it and complete the mission!
