How to Play Co-op in LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga

Once you’re in the game, click on start in the main menu and you’ll be be able to select an episode from the select screen. Select the episode you and your partner would like to play together. You’ll be unable to turn on a controller on this screen although you can do so in the next screen.

Afterwards, wait a while until you’ve gotten control of your character and then your partner can join. This simply means you can enjoy Lego’s silly signature cutscenes. After any cinematic magic has concluded, press the start button on a second controller to add your friend into the action.

Your game will now move to split-screen and then both you and your friend will go head to head against the dark side. The Skywalker Saga is a much more bigger game in terms of content and missions, so get ready for a lengthy co-op adventure with your partner.

After completing a mission and you want to stop the co-op mode, or your partner wants to leave the game, simply hit the start button on their controller and click the Drop Out option on the pause screen. This will remove your partner from the game and take you back to a full-screen single player experience.
