Activating the Mountainator Cannon is a part of the Chasm Delvers world quest of Genshin Impact that players have to complete to access the other half of The Underground Mines area.

How to Activate the Mountainator Cannon in Genshin Impact

You can activate the Mountainator Cannon by obtaining and loading a Cannonball from the nearby Gunpowder Storehouse and then lighting three Lamps and setting them on high or low frequency.

To open the Gunpowder Storehouse, you need two keys that you can obtain by simply progressing the Chasm Delvers world quest. You will get two search areas for the keys. The first key can be obtained by blowing up a powder keg near a wooden frame. 

Meanwhile, you can obtain the second key from a pot found in the search area. Once you have the two keys, open the Gunpowder Storehouse, obtain the Cannonball and load it in the Mountainator Cannon. Next, you have to Release the Safety on the Cannons Breach. Once that is done, you can activate the Mountainator Cannon.
