It took the series a very long time to reach the Nintendo Switch, but finally, Nintendo Switch Sports is now available worldwide, allowing fans all over the globe to try out for themselves the next evolution of the motion controls-powered experience originally seen on the glorious Wii console.
Nintendo Switch Sports features a mix of returning and brand new sports, and even more will be coming down the line. Here’s all the sports that will be on Nintendo Switch Sports.
What Sports Will be on Nintendo Switch Sports
At launch, Nintendo Switch Sports features six different sports – badminton, bowling, chambara, football, tennis and volleyball – and more will be coming down the line, as Nintendo confirmed before the game’s launch.
The only confirmed additional sport so far coming to Nintendo Switch Sports before the end of the year is golf, which makes it return to the game after debuting in the original Wii Sports. This sport will be released as a free DLC sometime this Fall.
As already mentioned, outside of golf Nintendo hasn’t confirmed any other additional post-launch sport for Nintendo Switch Sports. If the game manages to become the massive success the original Wii Sports was, however, we can be sure that more will be coming to the game in the future.
