Among the many visual elements that have been improved in Nintendo Switch Sports are the characters, as the new Sportsmates look considerably better than regular Miis. Still, some players prefer the simpler looks of the older Nintendo avatars and may want to use them in Nintendo Switch Sports.

Can You Use Miis in Nintendo Switch Sports?

Miis can be used in Nintendo Switch Sports without any limitation. As already mentioned, they don’t look as nice as the new Sporstmate do, but other than this, they behave exactly as the new characters do.

To use a Mii in Nintendo Switch Sports, you will first have to create one. To do so, you need to access the System Settings on your Nintendo Switch console, and then select the Mii option, where you can create a new Mii or edit one you already created.

Once you have a Mii on your Nintendo Switch console, you can use it in Nintendo Switch Sports. To select it, you will have to pick it from the Body menu when creating your character at the start of a career in any of the available sports, or in the customization menu that can be accessed from the Sports Selection screen by interacting with the first icon from the left in the lower right part of the screen.
