How to Destroy Trash in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

After sending out invites to the party of the year, it is time to face the aftermath. Fortnite’s week 8 Resistance Quests needs you to help clear up the mess! There are piles of pizza boxes and stinky bags of trash lying around The Sanctuary and it is your job to find and destroy them. Find out how below.

Where to Find and Destroy Trash in Fortnite

After establishing a device uplink at either The Joneses or The Daily Bugle, players are told to visit The Sanctuary and help clear up the mess left behind after the party. A total of 8 piles of trash need to be destroyed to complete this quest and gain 23K of XP.

As you get close to the trash they show up on the map (via Epic Games)

The trash comes in the form of bags full of party debris, piles of pizza boxes, or single empty pizza boxes, and all of them have flies hanging around. Players will know they are close when they hear flies buzzing. Keep an eye on your map to see tiny indicators of where the next pile may be.

You must destroy the bags of trash and pizza boxes by hacking at each pile with your harvesting tool or shoot it with a weapon. A total of 8 trash piles needs to be destroyed to complete the task and move onto the next Resistance Quest for this week.
