Dead By Daylight‘s Halloween Event is here and brings fun challenges and cosmetics to unlock. The event is Haunted By Daylight, and players can earn exclusive rewards by completing a new tome. Finding and Using an Arcane Dowsing Rod in Dead By Daylight
The Arcane Dowsing Rods can be found by both Survivor or Killer in their respective Bloodwebs. Players must spend Bloodpoints to unlock each item in the Bloodweb and level up their character. Items, perks, and add-ons appear randomly so some Bloodpoints will have to be spent to eventually have Arcane Dowsing Rods show up.
Once you have unlocked the Arcane Dowsing Rod in your Bloodweb, you can equip it in your load-out before entering a trial. The Arcane Dowsing Rod is an Offering, so it takes the place of any map or Bloodpoints offering you may usually use.

Equipping the Arcane Dowsing Rod gives the player 100% extra Bloodpoints when they complete objectives on Esoteric Hooks (Killer only) or Esoteric Generators (Survivor only), and by completing Void Energy transfers (Killer and Survivor).

The Arcane Dowsing Rod also gives players a directional cue when an Unstable Rift spawns within 24m. It can only be used during the Haunted By Daylight event.
