There’s a lot to do in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and as you explore the beautiful world of Paldea, you’ll stumble upon multiple Pokémons with dozens of variants that you can catch. And although some of them automatically evolve after reaching a certain level, others need to equip certain items.
One of the Pokémons that require specific items to evolve is Sinistea. You’ll need to have either the Chipped Pot or Cracked Pot to evolve this Pokémon depending on the form you have. So in this brief guide, we’ll be taking you through how to get Chipped Pot in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How To Get Chipped Pot in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
If you have an Authentic Sinistea Pokémon in your party, then you’ll need to equip the Chipped Pot and not the Cracked Pot as a lot of players have made the mistake of having a Phony Sinistea Pokémon and equipping the Chipped Pot instead of the Cracked Pot.
So to avoid this error and check your Sinistea’s form, place it in your first party slot and press ZR on your controller. You’ll then enter Let’s Go Mode, which allows you to see your Pokémon in the Overworld. Now scroll to the bottom of your Sinistea and check for a small blue marking. If you can’t find one, then it’s a Phony Sinistea. And if there is one, you have an Authentic Sinistea.
Where to Get Chipped Pot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Go to Porto Marinada after defecting the Cascarrafa Gym Leader where you’ll also discover Porto Marinada’s Auction Center after completing the Gym Test for Cascarrafa.
There you’ll find three vendors selling stuff like consumables, Pokeballs, and other useful items that’ll be of help to you at some point. Their inventories typically reset every few hours and upon return, bring new materials for players to buy including the Chipped Pot and Cracked Pot.
So once you’ve purchased the Chipped Pot, you can then access your inventory, select it and use it on your Sinistea Pokemon to start the evolution process.
