The good thing about this enemy is that they’re vulnerable to any melee weapon or tool you may have at your disposal. You can try using an axe and slashing at it a few times, but a better approach, in our opinion, is to go stealthy.

Try to spot a giant crab before it spots you, approach it from behind, and hit it with a spear. You can also throw your spear at it, but it will break, so jabbing is the better method. Even if the crab sees you before you sneak up on it, aim at its head, and it shouldn’t be too difficult to finish that fight fast enough.

If it all goes wrong, run into the ocean because giant crabs don’t go in the water after you.

After you kill it, you can use your knife to skin the giant crab and get 2 medium pieces of meat.
