How to Unlock All Lunar New Year Items in Dead By Daylight

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Rabbit, Dead By Daylight has a fun new event: Moonlight Burrow. As with previous lunar celebrations, players will have Red Envelopes to collect, lanterns to find, and special cosmetic items to win. Dead By Daylight Moonlight Burrow Lunar Event Guide

The Year of the Rabbit is here and Behaviour Interactive has brought the festivities to your favourite asymmetric horror game, Dead By Daylight. Playing as either Survivor or Killer, the player can enjoy the festive atmosphere during each game with red lanterns, fireworks, and more decorating the hooks, generators, exit gates, and buildings.

Exclusive Lunar Cosmetic Collection outfits are available in the Dead By Daylight store, with amazing skins for Dredge, Feng Min, and Vittorio Toscano. Free cosmetic items and charms can be unlocked by spending Bloodpoints in the Bloodweb and collecting Red Envelopes offerings. Spend these offerings when loading up into each game to be in with a chance of unlocking one random piece from the items available.

Once you are in game, your Red Envelope can be found somewhere on the map and you will see the aura of the envelope at the start of the match. Another player must claim your envelope for you to unlock one of the cosmetic items, if you claim your own envelope all you will get are Bloodpoints. You will know when your Red Envelope is successfully claimed as your character will gain golden sparkles around them during the match.

When you return to the lobby after the game ends you will see you have randomly unlocked one of the following pieces:

• Lunar Rabbit – Charm
• Quiet Rabbit – Charm
• Elodie Rakoto – Running in Circles Hat
• Claudette Morel – Triangular Glasses
• Jonah Vasquez – Employee Badge Shirt
• Yun-Jin Lee – Golden Bunny Pants
• The Blight – Golden Tall Hat
• The Doctor – Suit of Madness
• The Trickster – Hidden Rabbit Mask
• The Oni – Rain Slicer Weapon

When envelopes are claimed, players also gain bonus Bloodpoints! Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the Red Lanterns hidden around the map too. Interacting with these will give players a speed boost!
