Candy Crush has hundreds of levels of increasing difficulty. Some of these candy-crushing levels are virtually impossible unless the player makes planned out or thoughtful moves. Many of the trickier Candy Crush levels are the ones with limited moves, and level 144 is one of these tricky levels. Candy Crush Level 144: Hints & Tips

Level 144 of Candy Crush Saga is a particularly hard level due to the move limits and number of specific candies required to pass. Level 144 is the 47th candy order level and requires the player to collect 121 Frosting layers in 23 moves or fewer. This means clearing an average of 5 Frosting layers per move!

Frosting in Candy Crush is also known to some as Meringue or Icing. It is a Blocker candy, meaning players need to break it by matching candies adjacent to it. The Frosting comes in multiple layers, needing multiple hits to break it. In level 144 the Frosting comes in 1, 2, 3, and 4 layers, and a line of locked Frosting tiles which are opened using the UFOs or other special candies.

There is always the option of using special candy you may have in your inventory, but even then they must be used strategically. The board has two 3-tile gaps and two 2-tile gaps, making it an odd-shaped board and more difficult to create special candies.

It is best to not use the hinted moves the board shows, but instead take care to make the best moves you think are possible. Check out the walkthrough below to see this in action. You will notice that the player ignores the gently flashing tile prompts, and makes moves they know are best instead. They also use the UFO to break through the locked Frosting quite early on.

As you can see from the video above. the UFOs can help clear locked Frosting as it shoots Wrapped Candies into those spaces, which then explode, damaging surrounding candies and unlocking the Licorice Lock. Use these wisely to help you get as much candy and as many Frosting layers cleared as possible.
