In Hogwarts Legacy, you can alter a Gear style using the Transmog feature via the Gear menu. And if you are looking to change the style of anything inside the Room of Requirement, you can do it using the Altering Spell.

How to change the style of a Gear in Hogwarts Legacy

To change the style of a Gear piece, open your Field Guide and follow the below steps:

Open Gear menu;
Hover over the Gear piece whose style you want to change;
Depending on the platform, press the following button to open the Change Appearance menu:
- On PlayStation: Press the Square button;
- On Xbox: Press the X button;
- On PC: Press the F key;
Now select the appearance you want to change to.
