The Outer Worlds is a vast, immersive sci-fi game with unique characters, intriguing storylines, and challenging gameplay. As you explore the different planets and interact with various factions, you must develop your character’s skills and abilities to overcome the many obstacles you’ll encounter.
While combat is a significant part of the game, you must rely on your wits and cunning to achieve your goals. One of the most powerful tools is the Holographic Shroud, which lets you sneak past enemies undetected. This guide will show you how to obtain and use the Holographic Shroud.
The Outer Worlds: Holographic Shroud Guide
Holographic Shroud is a gadget created by Phineas Welles, an important character whom you meet right at the start of the game. You will receive the Holographic Shroud while playing the Passage to Anywhere mission. This gadget creates a holographic image over you to create a disguise.
You don’t need to press any button to activate Holographic Shroud and use it. It starts working automatically when you are inside a restricted area. However, it will only do so if you have the required ID cartridge.
